Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Pixel Boom Comunicação Ltda, Av. Maurilio Biagi 800, Sala 1302, Ribeirão Preto, SP, 14096-075, Brazil ("we", "us"), for the use of the PostMyPace app. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

1. The app

PostMyPace lets you turn your workout numbers and your photos into story images, using templates we design, and share them on Instagram or save them to your photos. You need an Apple or Google account to sign in. You can also connect Apple Health, on iPhone, or Health Connect, on Android, to fill in your numbers from your running workouts. Connecting Garmin Connect is coming soon.

2. Your account

• Keep the information you give us accurate, and keep your sign-in account secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law.

3. PostMyPace Pro

• Some templates are marked "Paid". You can preview and edit them for free, but saving or sharing a story with a Paid template requires a PostMyPace Pro subscription.
• PostMyPace Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, offered monthly or yearly. In Brazil it costs R$ 9,90 per month or R$ 99,90 per year; in other countries the price is shown in the app before you buy. Pro unlocks every template, including new ones, and any paid feature we add, for as long as the subscription is active.
• Payment is charged when you confirm the purchase: to your Apple Account, if you subscribe on the App Store, or to your Google account, if you subscribe on Google Play. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel it before the current period ends. On the App Store, cancel at least 24 hours before, because your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• A subscription works in the store where you bought it: Pro bought on the App Store unlocks the iPhone app, and Pro bought on Google Play unlocks the Android app.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, in the Google Play app → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or from Profile in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
• Purchases, renewals and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms. To request a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or follow Google Play's refund policies for Google Play.
• Offer codes and discounts are valid under the conditions stated when they are offered.

4. Your content

• Your photos and numbers remain yours. You give us permission to process them only as needed to run the app for you.
• Only use photos you have the right to use, and respect the image rights of anyone who appears in them.
• The story images you create are yours to post and share wherever you like.
• If you connect Apple Health, the app reads your running workouts (distance, time, elevation and date) on your device, only with your permission, to fill in your story's numbers. They stay on your device, and you can turn off the access at any time in the iPhone Settings app, under Health. The Privacy Policy has the details.
• If you connect Health Connect, on Android, the app reads your running workouts (distance, time, elevation and date) on your device, only with your permission, to fill in your story's numbers. They stay on your device, and you can turn off the access at any time in Health Connect.
• Once Garmin Connect is available, if you connect it, we receive and store your running activities to fill in your story's numbers. You can disconnect at any time, and we then delete that data.

5. Reposts

If you allow it for a given story, you grant us a free, non-exclusive permission to post that story on our Instagram account (@postmypace), mentioning your handle. We decide which stories to repost. You can cancel a request or ask for a published repost to be removed at any time in Profile → My reposts, or by email. Once a repost is published, we cannot control copies made by others. Stories made from an Apple Health or Health Connect workout or a Garmin run cannot be reposted.

6. Our content

The app, its templates, designs and brand belong to us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app and the templates to create your stories. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the templates themselves, or attempt to reverse engineer the app.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use PostMyPace to create content that is illegal, infringing, hateful or misleading, to impersonate others, or to interfere with the app or its servers. To report abuse, write to contato@pixelboom.studio.

8. Not advice

PostMyPace is a design tool. The numbers in your stories are the ones you enter, that are read from your screenshots or, if you connect Apple Health, Health Connect or Garmin Connect, that come from your workouts; we do not verify them, and nothing in the app is medical, training or health advice.

9. Changes and availability

We may improve, change or discontinue features and templates. We work to keep the app available, but we do not guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for losses caused by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under Brazilian law, including the Consumer Protection Code.

11. Apple and Google

These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app downloaded from the App Store; if the two conflict, these terms prevail to the extent permitted by that agreement. If you downloaded the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply to your use of Google Play.

12. Garmin

This section applies once Garmin Connect is available in the app and you connect it. These terms are between you and us, not Garmin. Garmin does not sponsor or endorse PostMyPace. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Garmin and its licensors provide their services and data "as is", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability and fitness for a particular purpose; they are not liable to you for any loss or damage arising from your use of those services or data through the app; and you release them from claims related to that use. Your use of Garmin's own apps and services is subject to Garmin's terms. Nothing in this section limits the rights you have as a consumer under Brazilian law.

13. Law and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes may be brought before the courts of your domicile. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date above and let you know before the change takes effect.
